New! Sell tickets for live streams.

Many musicians are using live streaming to connect with their fans during the COVID-19 epidemic. As the days turn into weeks, finding ways to monetize live streams becomes increasingly important.

We’ve updated the ticketing options to allow users to sell tickets for live-streaming events commission-free through their website.

Normally only available to Pro members, the ticket sale feature will be made available for all Bandzoogle plans during a pandemic.

How to sell tickets for live-streaming

You’ll need to create an event and add details such as the date, time, description, and other information about your live-streaming show.

You can add your live stream’s URL and unpassworded. This information is sent to the purchaser automatically after a ticket has been purchased.

Create a live-streaming event on your site.

Add to your calendar for live-streaming events. Add the date and time, and then your live stream information. For example, you can create a live streaming using platforms such as Zoom and Crowdcast.

Fill out the fields Live stream link, Live stream information, and Password once you have the link.

Set up A password-protected page if you want to drive visitors back to your site. Add the full page URL (mywebsite.com/livestream, for example) as the live stream link, and Password it. You can add to your video feature by using platforms such as Crowdcast and Vimeo.

You can sell tickets for your live stream

The live stream is delivered to the buyer directly via their eTicket.

You can contact your fans via your mailing list to inform them about upcoming live streaming dates.

Track your inventory and add the price of your tickets if you wish to limit sales.

Selling tickets through your website will always be 100% commission-free. This means that you will receive all of the revenue.

This new update to ticketing will hopefully allow you to produce shows from the comfort of your home and earn some money.
